The sand dunes, the camels, the tents and camps, and people will welcome you with open hearts, and we will ensure the safety and enjoyment of your trip.
1st Day: Marrakech to Ouarzazate
Marrakech is the city located in the Western part of Morocco. It is the beginning spot for our tour. It has beautiful mosques, tombs, and palaces that we will explore one by one throughout the day before we head towards Ouarzazate. The Majorelle Garden is going to be visited after which it will be lunch time, and after that, we head towards Koutoubia Mosque. We will explore the Bahia Palace which has 8 acres of gardens and 160 rooms. It is then that we finally arrive at Ouarzazate for a night stay after dinner to ensure that sleep is fulfilled.
2nd Day: Ouarzazate to Zagora
Situated in the South of Morocco, the city of Ouarzazate is a gateway for the Sahara Desert. It is home to the 19th-century palace known by the name “Taourirt Kasbah.” It has been featured in several movies and is known to give views of rugged landscapes – which become a perfect spot for photographs. After this spot, we will have lunch and be on our way to Zagora. After reaching Zagora, we have dinner and roam the streets of Zagora before we finally get back to the hotel for a good night’s sleep.
3rd Day: Zagora to Merzouga
Zagora is a small town in Morocco that we will be exploring on the 3rd day of our trip. It is situated in the Draa River valley. Climbing to the top of the Zagora mountain is what we will be looking forward to doing to experience a view like nothing you have had before. The top will make it accessible for you to see the remains of the Almoravid fortress. After that, we head for lunch and get on the way to reach Merzouga. Merzouga is the town situated near the Algerian border. We will have dinner and get some sleep.
4th Day: Merzouga (Sahara Desert Exploration Trip) – Merzouga
A whole day has been allocated to explore the beautiful Sahara Desert and its sand dunes. We will be riding the sand dunes in the desert. The best part of this day and the camel riding would be when the sun is about to set. This would be one of the most cherishable memories of this trip – to see the sun set while sitting on the top of a dune.
It is a desert with more than usual sand. The private tents in the desert each have a bathroom and an electric fan which makes the whole trip in the desert more satisfying and comfortable.
5th Day: Merzouga – Dades Gorges
The next morning you have toget ready to be on the way to reach Dades Gorges. It is an almost 4 hours trip after which the rugged Wadi gorges that have been carved out, by the Dades River in Morocco, will be yours to explore and travel around.
While passing the desert all the way to the final destination, we will be traveling on the backs of camels for part of the way. Rests will be taken at the available tents – which come after certain distances. After an almost 4 to 5 hours trip, you will arrive at your destination – the Dades Gorges.
6th Day: Dades Gorges – Marrakech
The Dades River that flows through Morocco has caused the rugged Wadi gorges to be carved out beautifully. The gorges have many colors which make the sight worth seeing. A perfect spot for pictures, you will be able to roam around on your own will to different areas.
We will be hiking to the top, which might look hard to do, but in reality, is not. The valley creates mesmerizing scenery which contrasts between the lush green valleys and the barren, arid rock. The drive through the rock and the sky liners would blow your
mind, and finally, we will reach Marrakech.
